# Our web design and build method — Stack Studio

How Stack Studio works: listen, structure, design, build with Astro, Strapi and Laravel, launch and support. Six steps and one team, from brief to launch.

Indicative weeks for a company website.

## 1. Listen (Week 1)

Before drawing anything, we get to know your business: what you offer, who to, and what should happen when someone lands on the site. We run a working session with you and review what you already have: current site, analytics and competitors.

Deliverables: Brief, Measurable goals, Audit

## 2. Structure (Week 2)

We organise the content before the design: which pages there are, what goes on each one and how people move between them. We sketch it in black-and-white wireframes that are quick to review and change.

Deliverables: Sitemap, Wireframes, Content plan

## 3. Design (Weeks 3-4)

We shape the site’s identity: typography, colour, imagery and motion. We design the key screens for desktop and mobile, and you sign them off in a clickable prototype.

## 4. Build (Weeks 5-8)

We build with Astro and Strapi: fast websites your team can edit on its own. When a project needs a custom application, we use Laravel. Every week you see progress on a private link.

Deliverables: Astro, Strapi, Laravel, Weekly releases

## 5. Launch (Week 9)

We test on real phones and browsers, fine-tune performance, accessibility and SEO, migrate the content and go live with no downtime. Then a session to show you how to use the CMS.

Deliverables: Lighthouse 90+, SEO, Training

## 6. Support (After launch)

A website gets better with use. We measure what works, keep the system up to date and suggest data-driven improvements, on a monthly plan or a block of hours.

Deliverables: Maintenance, Metrics, Continuous improvement
